S's sweet husband purchased our Oyster Necklace as a gift for his wife who absolutely loves the ocean. Unfortunately, when the oyster arrived, it was just too heavy for S to wear as frequently as she would've liked due to her arthritis. So, she sourced her own oyster for casting! One that was smaller and a bit lighter, and from a previous summer's trip to Maine - how special! I absolutely love how this one turned out. Also, since the new oyster was smaller than our standard, we were able to use a smaller, more delicate chain - keeping the statement in the style but light and delicate enough for everyday wear.
