Small Business Saturday

A Note from Mary Frances

Happy Small Business Saturday! I just wanted to personally say a little thank you for your continued support of the MFF brand. It's been an incredible year - one full of changes, new directions, new jewelry pieces, new stories, and lots of new faces. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for tagging along on this small business journey with me. My dad once told me, "when you own your own business, you're going to work harder than you ever thought possible. And then, when you think you're working as hard as possible, you'll work even harder." But the truth of the matter is this: I love what I do. And when you love it that much, it doesn't feel so much like work as it does a calling, an internal push stemmed from passion and heart. I love hearing from you when you receive a new piece of jewelry you love, or helping you choose the perfect gift for that special someone, or hearing the beautiful stories about the jewelry you've been passed down and want repurposed. YOU are what make this business what it is. YOU are the reason I wake up each morning, filled with gratitude and hope. YOU are what make the late nights and long, travel-filled weeks worth it. YOU are the reason Mary Frances Flowers exists.

Mary Frances Flowers is still a very small operation. This past year, I've brought on a few hands of part time help in various seasons of the year. Friends and family who have generously given of their time to help me as I navigate a growing business. But, ultimately, these two hands are still the ones answering your emails, making your jewelry, packaging your orders, and wiping away the tears of gratitude that often come when I think of the big picture of this business and how it's continued to grow and change over the last five and half years. Thank you to each and every one of you. I can't wait to see what the next five and half years brings. Your support of a small business on Small Business Saturday (and throughout the year) really does make a significant impact on not only my life, but my family's life and my community's life as well.

Wishing you all the love and joy this season brings,
Mary Frances
