SHIPPING
All in-stock orders placed on maryfrancesmaker.com are shipped via your choice of USPS First Class Mail (only available for orders containing 1-2 items), USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground, or UPS 2nd Day Air. All Semi-Custom Morse Code Items, Rings, or 14k Gold Pieces are made to order and will take up to five weeks to arrive at your door. All shipments are fully insured with tracking available. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs. Orders ship out of our Charleston, South Carolina, studio within one to three days of order placement (if it is a stock item) and can take anywhere from two to four days to arrive at your door. Please reference the table below in deciding which shipping option is right for you. Mary Frances Maker is not responsible for shipping delays once a package has left our care.

We strive to keep the website fully stocked and up to date. If an item is in stock, it will ship within 72 hours of order placement. If an in-stock item will not ship within that timeframe, we will let you know as soon as possible about any potential delays. All rings and custom items take several weeks to create, process, and ship. You will receive an email notification when your order has shipped regardless if it is a stock or made-to-order item.
SALES TAX
Mary Frances Maker charges Sales Tax for any orders shipped to an address in South Carolina. Orders shipped within South Carolina will be charged the statewide sales tax rate of 7%. We then remit this payment directly to the SCDOR. Mary Frances Maker does not charge a sales tax for orders shipped outside of South Carolina.
PAYMENT
Mary Frances Maker accepts the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Mary Frances Maker also accepts payments via Paypal and Apple Pay.
Your credit card and/or Paypal or Apple Pay account will be charged at the time you place your order. You will be asked to provide your credit card number, expiration date, security code, and billing address.
SEMI-CUSTOM & CUSTOM ORDERS
Custom orders, including all morse code pieces and men's custom cufflinks, may take up to five weeks for delivery from the time of order confirmation. An order is considered confirmed once we have communicated with the customer that your requested item is able to be produced and is in production. Custom orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun. Custom orders placed on maryfrancesmaker.com may not be refunded, returned, or exchanged.
To ensure you receive your gifts in time for the holidays, please refer to the following table. Christmas is Friday, December 25, 2020. Hanukkah begins Thursday, December 10, 2020.

If you’re desiring to buy from a small business this holiday season, thank you! “We” are about as small as it gets. And by we, I mean myself, my husband, my dog, and the small family-run production team I work with in NYC. But truthfully, I (Mary Frances) am the one who answers every email, fills every order, takes every box to the post office, designs each piece, posts every picture to Instagram and Facebook, and these days, makes every ornament. Process & Pricing:
I make each and every design first by hand in wax. If it’s an organic piece of material such as birch bark or shells, I’m cutting the bark or cleaning and filing the shells so they’ll work for casting. I then send all the waxes and organic material to either my family-run production team in New York City or small team in Charleston. They cast every piece (turn the wax into metal), make a mold of it, and then send it back to me in mostly-finished condition. I clean up any pieces that need extra work, add chains, add ear hooks, and photograph and package them so they come to you wrapped up all pretty!
