Emerald Cut Aquamarine

About the source:
While wandering the aisles of the Tucson Gem Show in 2024, we came across the kindest group of gentlemen from Canada running a gorgeous booth with a wide selection of colorful gems (all ethically sourced - a huge value of this company's!). We first stopped just to chat (I'm pretty sure we just stopped nearby to check our phones and got caught up in conversation). But when we finally tore ourselves away from the conversation, I noticed a handful of emerald cut and baguette beauties that I knew I had to have. My first thought for this aquamarine was a three stone ring alongside similar hues (we also sourced a similar-sized sapphire from this company and a green tourmaline from another in Tucson), but now I sorta love it solo - maybe a simple little pendant hanging on a chunky chain with a few other fave charms?

Details:
Aquamarine measures 3.2mm x 6mm.

Aquamarines have a hardness of 7.5-8/10 on the Mohs Hardness scale, meaning they are fairly durable and suitable for everyday wear. These gems can safely and securely be set into most any bracelet, ring, pendant, pair of earrings, or jewelry piece you can dream up! Aquamarine is also known as the birthstone for the month of March and the 19th wedding anniversary gem.
