Scallop Wine Coaster

I've dreamt of this collection for years. A grouping of beautiful pieces that encourage gathering around a shared table with friends and loved ones and forgetting every other worry in your mind as you escape into your surroundings - pieces that evoke happy memories and deep sentimentality.

It's been a labor of love, and now SCAPE is finally here. Bud vases because my momma always told me to have flowers for guests, Candlesticks for creating that perfect glowy romantic vibe, a Wine Coaster for the dripping red in between pours, Napkin Rings to hold Mimi's hand-embroidered linens, Cocktail Picks for cheersing all the moments worth celebrating, and Place Card Holders molded and cast from an acorn I found in my neighborhood because it's not an MFM collection if there isn't a nod to my love of nature.

I spent months meticulously carving these pieces out of wax, and then another several months finding just the right partner to bring them all to life. I'm proud to share we produced the entire collection in the United States with a family-run production company (my favorite kind to work with). We cast every piece in solid brass, a personal favorite metal of mine that ages and patinas like a dream. Gather 'round & enjoy!

We love the warmth and patina of solid brass, especially when it has been lovingly hand-carved and shows both the maker’s marks and marks of time. We encourage you to embrace the imperfections that develop on your brass tabletop pieces and remember the hands that have touched, used & cherished each piece.

But, if patina isn’t your thing, simply brush the surface of your piece with a dab of ketchup and warm water using an old toothbrush. Dry with a soft cloth immediately after cleaning. If left to air dry, water marks will appear.
