Custom Stories: R & A's Custom Wedding Bands
Little did I know 2 years ago when I nervously attended a neighborhood block party that I would be introduced to two of my best friends and get to experience their fairytale love story firsthand.
Rachel married Adam in an intimate, family-only ceremony in her mom's blue ridge backyard back in September, and I was honored to have created their wedding rings. When they first got engaged in January, a stunning Lake Como wedding was in the plans - until covid hit. So, they quickly switched gears.
Rachel's mom had recently moved to Blowing Rock and the view of the mountains from her backyard was breathtaking. The guest list was simple - his parents and sister, her brothers, sister in law, and mom. They flanked the aisle with white calla lilies and set a modern yet elegant table for nine. After all, what else do you need?
Rachel wanted something modern and classic as her wedding ring - an eternity band of east-west prong-set straight baguette diamonds in 18k yellow gold to match her engagement ring. Adam's band was hand-carved and cast into 18k yellow gold with a special message from his bride engraved on the interior.
Thank you, thank you, thank you Adam and Rachel for allowing me this honor. And thank you to Caseydog and Porterpup for introducing us 🐶
