Shipping & Returns
We’re honored you’re here. Because many of our pieces are made in small batches or created specifically for each client, shipping timelines and return eligibility vary by item type. If you have questions at any time, email us at studio@maryfrancesmaker.com.
Sales Tax
Mary Frances Maker charges sales tax for any orders shipped to an address in Georgia. Orders shipped within Georgia will be charged the city’s sales tax rate, which varies between 4–9%.
Payment
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express, as well as PayPal and Apple Pay. Your payment method will be charged at the time you place your order, regardless of production timeline.
Shipping
All website purchases ship via UPS Ground (unless otherwise requested) and are fully insured, with tracking provided.
Free UPS Ground Shipping is automatically applied to orders over $500. If you’d prefer a faster shipping method, you may select an expedited option at checkout.
All orders ship directly from our Atlanta, GA studio.
Please note: We are not responsible for shipping delays once a package is in the carrier’s possession.
Production Timelines
Because our work is handmade, production timelines depend on what you purchase:
Ready to Ship
Ready-to-ship pieces are typically processed and shipped within 1–3 business days.
Made to Order (Modern Heirlooms / Evergreen Collections)
Made-to-order pieces require additional production time. Please allow up to 3-4 weeks before shipping.
Custom Fine Jewelry
Most custom projects are completed in 6-8 weeks, depending on design complexity, materials, and studio scheduling. Your timeline will be confirmed during your custom process.
Returns & Exchanges
Custom + Made-to-Order Pieces
All custom and made-to-order pieces are final sale and are not eligible for returns or exchanges once production has begun.
Ready-to-Ship Pieces
Select ready-to-ship items may be eligible for store credit if:
- You contact us within 5 days of delivery, and
- The item is received back in our studio within 10 days of delivery
Returned items must be unworn and in original condition. Store credit is issued once the return is inspected and approved.
Items purchased on sale or with a discount code are final sale.
To request a return, please email us before shipping anything back so we can confirm eligibility and next steps.
Return Restrictions
Mary Frances Maker reserves the right to deny store credit if returned merchandise does not meet the requirements above.
If a return is not accepted, the item will be shipped back to the customer at their expense and store credit will not be issued.
Adjustments & Resizing
Items needing a different chain length or ring size may be subject to an additional fee.
