Custom Story: L's Little Fingerprints

Brian dreamed up gifting both his wife and mother-in-law these two unique fingerprint pendants from his 4-year-old son.

We worked closely with him to sneakily capture L's little fingerprints without his wife knowing - a true feat and success story! We're honestly just as proud of the complete surprise as the pieces themselves. Brian helped press L's thumbs into the warmed up soft jeweler's wax to get the most accurate and deep print. One fingerprint came from L's right thumb, the other was his left thumb.

The pendants each feature an old mine-cut diamond from Brian's grandmother, set in a beautiful new design that’s now full of meaning. The way the fingerprints cast into gold next to such beautiful stones was a more beautiful project than we could even imagine. 

We were on a bit of a time crunch to make sure he had them in time for a big family trip to Paris, and it was so worth it. He gifted the pendants there, and they were completely amazed. Everyone who’s seen them has been in awe… and honestly, so are we!
