You've chatted with me via Zoom about your custom jewelry project, and I'm so excited to work with you!

In order for me to begin working on your Custom Design Proposal, please purchase a custom design deposit below. Once purchased, I can send you a shipping label to send me your stones, if applicable. Please let me know the value of insurance you would like for me to put on your label. Then, once I receive your stones, I can begin to create a proposal with several design options for you to review and share comments. The Design Proposal will include digital mockups of the designs discussed, outline pricing for each design, list expected delivery timeline and all other relevant details for your specific project. This begins the custom jewelry process.

SHIPPING
All orders are shipped via your choice of UPS Ground, 2nd Day Air, or Next Day Air Saver. All shipments are fully insured with tracking available. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs. Orders ship out of our Atlanta, GA, studio within one to three days of order placement (if item is in stock) and can take anywhere from two to seven business days to arrive at your door. Mary Frances Maker is not responsible for shipping delays once a package has left our care.

Orders over $500 are eligible for free UPS Ground Shipping. This option will automatically be selected at checkout if you meet the order amount. If you would prefer a faster shipping method, you may unselect the free option and choose a different shipping speed.

 

SALES TAX
Mary Frances Maker charges Sales Tax for any orders shipped to an address in Georgia. Orders shipped within Georgia will be charged the city's sales tax rate which varies between 4-9%. Mary Frances Maker does not currently charge a sales tax for orders shipped outside of Georgia.

 

PAYMENT
Mary Frances Maker accepts the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Mary Frances Maker also accepts payments via Paypal and Apple Pay.

Your credit card and/or Paypal or Apple Pay account will be charged at the time you place your order regardless of when the order will be ready to ship. You will be asked to provide your credit card number, expiration date, security code, and billing address.

 

SEMI-CUSTOM & CUSTOM ORDERS
Any customized items may take up to six weeks for delivery from the time of order confirmation. An order is considered confirmed once we have communicated with the customer that your requested item is able to be produced and is in production. Customized orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun. Customized orders may not be refunded, returned, or exchanged.

Each piece of jewelry is handmade and, therefore, delicate. Please exercise great care to enjoy your piece for years and years.  

To clean brass and keep it shiny, we love the ketchup trick. Because of the acidity in ketchup, it has the ability to remove dirt and debris from your solid brass pieces rather quickly. Simply run your brass jewelry under warm water and using a soft bristle old toothbrush, scrub the piece with a dab of ketchup. Rinse the piece thoroughly and dry it immediately with a soft cloth so as not to create water marks. Continue the process until you reach the desired shine.

Our sterling silver items are solid silver and can be cleaned using a silver polish or jewelry polishing cloth. Similarly, our 14k gold pieces are solid gold and can be polished with a specified gold polish or jewelry polishing cloth.
