Fluted Cuff
Here's the thing - I don't always have some grand moment of inspiration for designs. Sometimes it's a random thing that just pops into my head, fully formed. Sometimes it's likely something I saw or studied years and years ago that's been saved in my sub-conscious and comes out as an idea that I have to noodle on for a while. The idea for this Fluted Cuff (and the hoops) came to me a few years ago, but I just can't remember where. It was a "from the cutting room floor" design for a client - she has this gorgeous giant cushion-cut citrine that we were brainstorming a bracelet design for, and I desperately wanted to bezel-set the stone in a tapered fluted cuff. No idea why or where the idea came from, but we ultimately went in a different direction. So here I am, making up for lost time, and finally getting my dream come true in this gorgeous cuff.
