Bumpy Cuff
Another subconscious design born out of our bathroom renovation! At this point, my house feels like it’s made entirely of tile samples—I went from one tile store to the next in search of the perfect green or blue for the shower. We finally landed on a forest green, smooth, ridged “bumpy” tile, and I couldn’t help but imagine it as jewelry. The texture felt playful and modern, practically begging to be transformed into a cuff that could be worn out and about.
Inspired by the tactile feel of the tile we chose for the new bathroom. Running my hands over those surfaces made me want to translate that same sense of touch into metal.
