Custom Stories: Diamond & Birthstone Eternity Ring
Last Fall, S approached me about creating a special ring for his pregnant wife to commemorate their growing family the following February. S and my husband have worked together for years so I was beyond honored when he asked. But then, the holidays came and went. We decided to wait until after baby came to finish the project. Good thing we did because baby H made his debut early in January! We decided to use his January birthstone, garnet, in a unique but subtle way. J already had a beautiful stack of wedding rings S had given her years earlier, and we wanted this piece to fit in seamlessly. So, a shared prong diamond eternity band with a single garnet stone was just the ticket! She could wear it with all diamonds showing, keeping the garnet just for herself, or show off that beautiful baby's birthstone.
