Salt and Pepper Diamond Ring, size 5.5
A 1.01ct round brilliant salt and pepper diamond, bezel set in a hand-carved solitaire in solid 14k yellow gold. Salt and pepper diamonds are natural diamonds — the white and dark grey inclusions that would disqualify a stone from classic grading are exactly what makes each one unrepeatable. This one leans icy: subtle inclusions, quiet contrast, nothing loud about it.
The setting is classic. The stone is not.
